Teresa Danso-Danquah is a recent graduate from Cornell University, where she studied Industrial and Labor Relations and served as a leading ally and self-advocate for individuals with disabilities. Her passion for this community has led her to work on youth employment in Hyderabad, India, to lead therapeutic arts lessons with teen girls in Cusco, Peru, conduct research on siblings of individuals with disabilities in New York, and to serve as a disability policy intern in a U.S. Senate Committee. Her work has been recognized in numerous awards, including the 2014 Truman Scholarship for change agents and future public service leaders.
After Cornell, Teresa took her disability and employment passion to Capital One as an associate in its Human Resources Rotation Program (HRRP). The HRRP is a 2.5 year leadership development program that aims to attract, engage, and develop the future leaders of HR by providing three distinct rotations across enterprise and business specific HR functions.

Teresa has worked in HR Operations as a project lead for an enterprise wide system integration, in Talent Acquisition where she worked on high volume full life cycle recruiting and designed and implemented diversity and inclusion training for 400 associates of the Talent Acquisition organization. Teresa honed her excel and data visualization skills while working in Compensation and leading the salary adjustments and mid-year and year-end cycles for 5 client groups. Lastly, Teresa managed Campus Recruiting’s On-Campus diversity and inclusion strategy, consulting with recruiting and school leads to create school-specific strategy on increasing diversity hiring across 40 U.S. colleges.
While at Capital One, Teresa served on the national leadership for CapAbilities, the company’s disability business resource group, where she helped associates recognize, foster, and create inclusive spaces for associates with disabilities and allies.
Teresa aspires to combine her passion for diversity and inclusion with tech and data analytics to strategically develop inclusive workforces.
