My Journey
My career has taken a few unexpected turns. Looking back, though, the thread is pretty clear:
I’ve always been interested in people, capital, opportunity, and the systems that determine who gets access to the latter two.
2015–2018 • Capital One
Began my career in HR, talent acquisition, compensation, and diversity & inclusion—learning how organizations attract talent, allocate resources, and create opportunity.
2019–2021 • Disability:IN
Led a national talent development program supporting 250+ college students with disabilities and a network of 1,000+ alumni while partnering with Fortune 500 companies to expand pathways into employment.
2021 • Energize Ventures
Made the transition into venture capital through the HBCUvc Fellowship, researching energy management and building electrification while supporting investment diligence.
2022 • American Family Institute for Corporate & Social Impact
Explored the intersection of climate tech, disasters, and insurance and developed an investment thesis around tech that can make communities more resilient to climate change.
2022–2024 • Harvard Business School
Pursued an MBA focused on venture capital, entrepreneurship, and impact investing while co-leading the Black New Venture Competition and serving as President of PRIDE. I received the Dean’s Award upon graduation for my impact, service, and leadership to the HBS community and broader society.
2024–Present • Cambridge Associates
Currently, I invest in and support venture capital managers, with a particular focus on diverse and emerging managers, while helping institutional investors identify high-conviction investment opportunities.
